“A picture is worth a thousand words and style tips”

I am an archivist. I do not work in a factory. However, I my choice of dress is less glamorous then these women.  Yes, the photograph is from 1929, but oh, how times have changed. My burning question: are these changes for the better? My secret desire is to curl my hair (1930s feminine curls), wear dresses with heels, and adorned myself with ornate jewelry on a daily basis. Sadly, when faced with the daily question of what to wear I grab a pair of jeans, comfortable shoes, a threadless tee, and a cardigan. Not to say this is wrong, but instead, what if I went a completely different unexpected way? What if I embraced the appearance practices of a different time period? This will be easy on my wedding day, which dear readers (if you are out there) is approaching at lightening speed. However, why not Tuesday, because I simply feel like it?

2010 Resolution: Get Website Up & Going

Eames, Hello!

I’ve had this domain for two years, but have been rather lazy about content. This year, however, I hope to actually make dadalibrarian more than just a twitter name.
